The Hauptwerk is a virtual instrument that uses a very powerful sound engine, that together with the audio algorithms in the opcode overcomes all the problems of a synthesizer. The sound engine is based on an extremely fast, and highly advanced, modal filter with a high-quality multi-mode resonator and all parameters are dynamic. The Hauptwerk is a virtual instrument.
