VMware Workstation 7.0 (OS Build #71.0.0.0)

I've been trying to install VMware workstation 7.1.4 on my windows 7 computer.I know I've already posted something similar to this, but this totally different situation.Whenever I open the installer, this grey window labeled VMware workstation setup opens and nothing happens.

FYI: I tried VMWare Workstation 8.0, VMWare Workstation 8.1 and VMWare Workstation 8.5, all with the same results. I even tried the x86 installer but just to no avail. I've tried it on two different computers and the same problems.

it works for me, i run the setup again, i create a new VM and make the workstation work again. if the screen is gray it should be a problem with your dvd, try a different dvd, it might be a compatibility problem with your windows version.
